I love the character and style of classic cars — whether it’s the Model A from the 1920’s, or the racing-equipped body of the Bentley; the Art-Deco style of the Auburn, or the shoebox styles from the 50’s. They each represent a different era in the history of one of mankind’s most enjoyable inventions.
Being car collectors ourselves, we love to take Sunday drives — putting our cares behind us, and enjoying the open road. Considering all the demands that life puts on us, we all need an escape. For classic car collectors, this means taking a drive… A drive down memory lane, when it wasn’t about the destination — it was about the experience. My paintings remind me of these simpler times.
